EVANGELISM Update

Here are just a few examples of how members of ESBC prayed for opportunities to share the Gospel last week, had the wisdom to see those opportunities, and then had the courage to take advantage of those opportunities to share the Gospel and/or have God-conversations:

·Two of our members had their grandchildren visit over the recent holiday.  Sadly, the children’s parents have not exposed the kids to the truth of the Gospel.  So, while the grandkids were visiting, our members were purposeful in using crafts and evangecubes to share the Gospel story with them and hoped that God would bless their efforts by planting the seed of salvation in their hearts.

·Another member gave a “Tree of Thanks” craft to their daughter-in-law that our member had made in Joy Club.  Our member hoped that while they do not always see eye-to-eye spiritually speaking, that the receiving of the “Tree of Thanks” would remind the daughter-in-law that she is loved and respected.

·Finally, 44 church volunteers served in the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox ministry from Nov. 17 – 24.  As the regional drop-off site for shoeboxes, our volunteers had many, many opportunities to pray and have Gospel conversations with donors dropping off boxes.  May the Lord continue to bless these boxes as they go throughout the world sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

So what have YOU done to SHARE THE GOSPEL lately? Pray for opportunities and be ready when the Lord gives them to you!!
