EVANGELISM Update
Here are just a few examples of how members of ESBC prayed for opportunities to share the Gospel last week, had the wisdom to see those opportunities, and then had the courage to take advantage of those opportunities to share the Gospel and/or have God-conversations:
·One member has slowly established relationships with fellow patrons at a local restaurant, as well as with neighbors while taking daily walks. Each of these small conversations allow for opportunities to share more and more of the Gospel message.
·Another member has constantly been trying to pour Jesus into the heart of their reluctant teenager. Recently, out-of-the blue, the teen quoted a Bible verse when they spotted a Nativity scene at a local attraction.
·One member is encouraging a new acquaintance to pursue attending a Gospel-centered church rather than a traditional, works-based, rules-driven church that they have been attending for years out of a sense of false duty and obligation.
·And finally, one member ran into an old acquaintance while out on a walk. The person recently checked out of the Bethesda Mission and (at the age of 78) was slowly trying to put their life back together. Alongside a very busy road, our member held their hand and prayed for them to know and trust Jesus.
So what have YOU done to SHARE THE GOSPEL lately? Pray for opportunities and be ready when the Lord gives them to you!!
