EVANGELISM Update

Here are just a few examples of how members of ESBC prayed for opportunities to share the Gospel last week, had the wisdom to see those opportunities, and then had the courage to take advantage of those opportunities to share the Gospel and/or have God-conversations:

·One member had a great Gospel conversation with a converted Jewish man.

·Another member had a God conversation with a neighbor about the book of Revelation.

·Two members witnessed to their doctor, prayed for a server at a local restaurant, and started a spiritual discussion over the phone with a medical appointment scheduler.

·Several members invited guests to our Joy Club Supper and Mark Cable Concert earlier in the week.  Through song and story telling the guests heard a clear presentation of the Gospel and that only Jesus can save us, not our good deeds.

·And finally, while serving on our Election Day Ministry last Tuesday, several of our members had the opportunity to have not only spiritual conversations, but prayer time with community members who came to ESBC to vote.  Prayer needs included requests for employment, peaceful resolutions to family discord, and God’s direction for their lives.

So what have YOU done to SHARE THE GOSPEL lately? Pray for opportunities and be ready when the Lord gives them to you!!
