EVANGELISM Update

Here are just a few examples of how members of ESBC prayed for opportunities to share the Gospel last week, had the wisdom to see those opportunities, and then had the courage to take advantage of those opportunities to share the Gospel and/or have God-conversations:

-Two members talked to their neighbors while both were taking a break from cutting the grass. Our members found out the neighbors did not attend church and invited them to ESBC.

-Another member prayed for a gentleman who lost his brother and volunteered to travel for 5 hours to meet with a lawyer to settle his estate.

-One member had lunch with old friends and stayed afterwards to continue talking to a friend who is seeking more in life. Our member pulled out their Bible which really impressed the friend. Our member invited their friend to church.

-Another member prayed with their long-time barber who is experiencing multiple health issues.

-One member talked to a coworker who was asking our member about some Bible study courses our member was taking. The conversation permitted our member to share the Gospel with the coworker.

-Another member was working as an Uber driver who had a rider ask, “How is a young man in today’s world supposed to be successful?” Our member shared that the real key to success is knowing Jesus. The rider was very intrigued and asked how he could come to know Jesus?

-Finally, multiple members of our church repeatedly shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with young children during our 5-day Vacation Bible School. One 10-year-old child expressed that they had asked Jesus to come into their heart, and several others are very close to making this life-changing decision. Thank you, Lord, for the outward focus of ESBC and blessing us with opportunities to Share the Gospel!

Remember: Jesus is the Fix, in 2026!  Pray for opportunities and be ready when the Lord gives them to you!!
