Tropical Storm Lee Damages Church

East Shore was not sparred from the damages of Tropical Storm Lee.  On Wednesday, September 7th, rainfall on top of already saturated soil caused groundwater to pour into the lower half of the west wing of East Shore flooding the fellowship hall, kitchen, nursery rooms and bathrooms.  A team of church members pulled together on Saturday the 10th to remove the room contents, ruined carpet and saturated drywall to help preserve the room for future restoration.  It was learned that insurance would only cover a fraction of what it will take to rebuild the rooms.  Your prayers and financial support is appreciated as we prepare to secure the services of professionals to bring back the vital space East Shore uses for its Children's, Senior and Racetrack ministries and hosting of activities such as its Missions Fest. More details on cost will be forthcoming.   I want to Help!
