ESBC has an active ministry to residents of the Keystone Correctional Facility, a men’s half-way
house located on Allentown Blvd.
Realizing we had a new half-way house, called the Keystone Correctional Facility, located within
a half-mile of our church, we began praying for opportunities to engage in ministry there. Our
opportunity came in the spring of 2010, when simultaneously, with the commencement of
our prayers, we were contacted by one of the facility’s counselors. In addition to a monthly
service held at the Facility, usually on the third Sunday of every month, we engage the men in
numerous activities at our church, including a special small group on Sunday mornings. We truly
believe Christ has the power to radically transform lives, and this interaction with residents of
Keystone is one example of our passion to reach out to others.
