Community Service Projects
Jesus said to "go" and make disciples, and to love our neighbors, as we love ourselves.
East Shore Baptist Church is committed to loving our neighbors--and sometimes that is
evidenced in creative ways! We strive to serve our community in unique ways, at least once
per month. The projects range from Christmas caroling, working alongside our Township
to assist with its events, and collecting and distributing food to families in need. We made
bandages for hospitals in Africa, held an event for the men of the Keystone Correctional Facility,
led games for children at a Township event, and participated in, or held many other community
service activities. Ultimately, we believe that the Church should be out serving and loving
others, and not just doing things, within the walls of the church building. We are putting feet to
our faith!
I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known
unto you. (John 15:15)
