Sunday Worship (Children's Church)

We believe that all children have it within themselves to be world changers and our goal is to help each child use their abilities to understand Biblical truth and apply it to their lives so they may have a more personal relationship with Jesus, God's only Son.

Nursery

We have two fun-filled nurseries for our birth through 2-year-olds. Don’t worry about the youngest members of the family. All our nursery workers, as with all the adults that deal with our children, must pass a background check before watching over Jesus’ precious little ones. We have a pager system available for those that wish to be in closer contact.

Lil'K

Lil'K is our morning program for our 3-year olds through kindergarten.  It is a faced paced, high energy multimedia based course hosted by Kai and his little friend Lil'K.  The kids are encouraged to yell and hop around as they sing, dance, enjoy a snack and hear a Bible lesson that is geared for their age level.  The kids will go home with a new Bible verse to recite every week, taught to them in a way that many of our children are still reciting the following week.  They will also bring home handouts for them to do with mom and dad.

KIDMO

KIDMO logoKIDMO is our exciting interactive media-driven curriculum for our 1st through 4th graders that is high energy, hilarious & biblically sound.  KIDMO is a place where your children can come and feel welcomed, valued, and cared for while they learn who Jesus is, how to follow Him and how basic bible truths can help them make right choices now and throughout their lives.  Each week, the kids meet Johnny Rogers, the creator of KIDMO and the virtual video teacher whose hyper teaching style reaches out to the kids at a level they can grasp and have fun with while learning.   Each Sunday is an event for the kids as they arrive and have a snack and then are divided into two teams to be challenged in some friendly team competition.  Each Sunday includes:

Konnect - where the kids interact with each other as directed by the MC of the day.

Worship- where the kids sing high energy, meaningful worship songs in a style that they love.

Teaching Video- where the kids hear an engaging Bible lesson taught by Johnny Rogers.

Kwizmo- the team competition where the kids review major points of the lesson.

Memory Max - the team competition where the kids review the Bible verse of the week.

Small Group- where the teams combine to talk with the leaders about what they learned this week.

Prayer Cards- one of the teaching tools to help kids to learn to ask for prayer.

MAP (Mission Action Plan) books- another teaching tool that is a take home study guide to get mom and dad involved.

Starting at the KIDMO level, we stress the importance of being able to look up Bible verses and encourage the kids to do so during the Bible verse segment.

Super Church

Super Church is for our 5th and 6th graders.  The kids learn to delve deeper into the Bible.  Each week, they are challenged to learn and question the lessons they are being presented.  They learn the value of taking notes, challenging the teachers and doing daily quiet times.  The kids look forward to each week and the new things they are going to learn.

We encourage all parents to take an active roll in their children's spiritual education and invite you to sit in on any class to see what your children are learning.

Wednesday Activities

Impact Kids

Impact Kids is a special time when all of the girls and boys in grades 1-6 gather together to learn more about the Bible itself.  This brief session serves as a kick-off for the Girls-in-Action (GAs) and Royal Ambassadors’ (RAs) meetings.  During Impact Kids we share clean jokes, do Bible drills, sing songs, work on scripture memorization, and earn prizes.  The time together is fast-paced and Bible-centered.

Royal Ambassadors

Royal Ambassador LogoRoyal Ambassadors®  (RAs) is a Bible-centered mission education organization for boys in grades 1-6. The RA motto, “We are Ambassadors for Christ,” not only gives the organization its name but also gives the boys and leaders a lifestyle goal. This motto is taken from Scripture, specifically 2 Corinthians 5:20. During each RA session the boys will learn how to spread the good news of salvation through Bible drills, song, videos, and crafts. Each session also includes a game and a snack. Special events would include camp-outs and the pinewood car races.

Girls in Action

Girls in Action LogoWhat Is Girls in Action?
Girls in Action® (GA®) is a WMU® missions organization for girls who are age 6-11 or in grades 1-6. GA can help girls in your church begin to develop spiritually towards a missions lifestyle as they learn what God is doing in the world and discover their place in God's plan.
The purpose of GA is summed up in the GA Pledge, Motto, GA Scripture Verse, and GA Lifestyle Verse:

GA Pledge:
As a GA, I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by
• Learning about missions
• Praying for missions
• Giving to missions
• Doing missions
• And participating in the work of the church.

GA Motto:
Go Forward!

GA Scripture Verse:
"Give thanks to the Lord. Worship him. Tell the nations what he has done. Announce how honored he is" (Isaiah 12:4 NIV).

GA Lifestyle Verse:
"The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must treat people fairly. You must love others faithfully. And you must be very careful to live the way your God wants you to" (Micah 6:8 NIrV).

Team Kid

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. Every part of TeamKID-Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application and recreation-all connect to teach life lessons to kids.
